This years election was completely different.I never took any interest in it anyway.This election it was different because this time a African-American man was running for president and it was usually a white guy. There has been forty-three white presidents,and he is the first bi-racial American elected for president. A lot of people didn't want an African-American for president but many people believed in a change. Obama wanted to help the middle class people with health care,and cutting taxes. I don't know much about all the changes he believed in,but i think he had alot of good ideas because a lot of people were exited about him becoming [president. I also noticed a great exitment in Latinos and cacasiun people were also. I really noticed excitment in my parents, they were really interested in what was going on and for who was going to be our new president for the new year. It also seemed that Hilory Clinton was working very hard to get elected for president, and im not saying that she seems interesiting becasue she was clintons wife but because she was a strong working woman and she believed in heself. I dont know so much about McCain either but he also had some good things to look forward to but i wasnt so interested in him. I heard alot of people didnt want him for president because he was old i didnt see this on tv but i heard it on the way to school on the radio (i seriously think he looks like frosty the snow man..thats not good) Anyway... I think Obama has many promises that he will keep because he lived and he has felt like and middle class person and he knows how hard it it to live that way.Especially because he was raised by a single mother. I admire him for achieving his goals.
